Audio & Video in Houston, TX

If you’re building or renovating in Houston—whether it’s a Heights bungalow, Memorial estate, or River Oaks penthouse—multi-room audio and home theater automation puts music and media in every room, controlled from a single app. Grizzly Tec, a LOXONE Partner since 2015 and Platinum Partner today, designs and installs audio systems that work invisibly: invisible speaker placements, one-tap lighting and screen control, and zero monthly fees. You get the admin password and full control of your system.

Why Houston Homeowners Choose This

Houston’s inner-loop neighborhoods attract professionals and empty-nesters who entertain frequently and expect their homes to perform. You’re not looking for a DIY Bluetooth speaker solution that stops working when someone’s phone disconnects. You want speakers in the kitchen, dining room, master suite, and outdoor space—all playing together or independently, all controllable from the app you already carry.

Audio and video automation delivers that. In Houston’s humid subtropical climate, a well-designed system also reduces energy waste by integrating with your lighting and HVAC through LOXONE automation. When your theater scene activates, lights dim automatically. When you leave a room, audio stops and conditioning adjusts.

Unlike rental-model systems, you own this outright. Grizzly Tec gives you the admin password on day one. No subscriptions. No vendor lock-in. With 1,000+ projects since 2012 (audio, video, networking, security and automation), we design systems to hold up through our heat and humidity.

What’s Included with Audio & Video

A typical audio and video system from Grizzly Tec includes:

Speaker Selection & Placement We choose speakers matched to each room’s size and purpose—invisible in-ceiling speakers for bedrooms and kitchens, outdoor-rated speakers for patios, bookshelf speakers for media rooms. Placement matters: we run wiring during rough construction (or retrofit existing walls without tearing apart your finishes) and position speakers for balanced coverage.

LOXONE Audio Zones LOXONE creates independent audio zones that play any combination of sources: Spotify, Apple Music, AirPlay, FM radio, or your own library. Each zone has its own volume and source control. Set one room to jazz while another plays news—without any audio bleeding or app confusion.

One-Tap Scenes Theater scene activates? Lights fade to 5%, the projector screen drops, and surround sound powers on automatically. Dinner party scene? Kitchen and dining room speakers sync, volume balances across the open plan, and exterior lights brighten. You program these once; they run on one tap.

Home Theater Integration If you’re upgrading from a DIY home theater setup, we integrate your existing projector, receiver, and screen into the app so controls live in one place. Proper calibration, balanced surround placement, and acoustic treatment make the difference between a media room that plays movies and one where you actually want to sit.

Mobile Control & Voice Integration Control everything from the LOXONE app or through voice (Alexa integration available). No account login required each time—it’s your system, your network, your control.

What a Typical Project Looks Like in Houston

A typical audio and video project in Houston includes speakers matched to each room, such as in-ceiling speakers for bedrooms and kitchens and outdoor-rated speakers for patios. LOXONE audio zones let each space play its own source or sync with others, and one-tap scenes tie music, lighting, and screens together. If you already have a projector, receiver, or screen, it can often be folded into the same app so controls live in one place. Wiring is commonly run during construction, or retrofitted into existing walls with care for your finishes.
