Audio & Video in River Oaks, TX

River Oaks homes demand technology that disappears into the architecture—and Grizzly Tec, a LOXONE Partner since 2015 and Platinum Partner today, specializes in exactly that. Audio and video automation puts music and media in every room of your home, controlled from a single app, with one-tap scenes that dim lights, drop screens, and set volume. Whether you’re renovating an estate in Afton Oaks or building new in Glendower Court, we design invisible speaker installations that deliver luxury sound without cluttering your walls.

Why River Oaks Homeowners Choose This

River Oaks isn’t just Houston’s most exclusive neighborhood—it’s where architecture and technology have to work together, not against each other. Your home is built on heritage and refined taste, which means visible wires, pendant speakers, and clunky remote controls have no place.

Audio and video automation solves this completely. Your speakers install inside walls, ceilings, and cabinet systems. Your screens hide behind millwork or recessed panels. Your lighting responds automatically. Everything runs from your phone, or from the smart home dashboard we build into your LOXONE system. The dense tree canopy that defines River Oaks—those mature oaks and pines that make the neighborhood so stunning—creates dramatic shifts in natural light throughout the day. With dynamic lighting automation, your system adjusts color temperature and brightness in real time, which means your entertainment spaces actually look better and feel more natural as the light changes.

When you entertain (and River Oaks households do), one tap creates your perfect scene. Music streams to the living room, the powder room plays something different, your home theater dims to black and raises the screen. All synchronized. All without thinking about it. No monthly fees, no subscriptions, no reliance on cloud services. You own the system and control it completely.

What’s Included with Audio & Video

A complete audio and video automation system from Grizzly Tec includes:

Multi-room audio zones built around LOXONE audio modules. Each zone plays independently or syncs with others. Your kitchen plays one playlist while your home theater handles surround sound—or everything plays together for parties. Volume, source, and playback are all controlled from one app.

In-wall and in-ceiling speakers positioned by our installers to match your home’s architecture. For estates in Avalon Place with vaulted ceilings, this means invisible speakers that deliver surround sound without a single wire crossing your walls. For newer builds, we coordinate with your builder’s electrical and framing crews to get placement exactly right.

Motorized screens and projection systems that lower automatically when your home theater scene activates. We handle the engineering, wiring, and automation—you just see the screen descend smoothly as the lights fade and your movie begins.

Lighting integration so that audio and video scenes control your dimming, color, and scene presets together. Play music in the living room, and the warm lights adjust to match the mood. Start your home theater scene, and the entire room goes dark in seconds.

One-app control through your LOXONE system. No separate remotes, no multiple apps. If you’re building or renovating in River Oaks, we integrate this into your whole-home automation so music, video, lighting, and climate all work together.

We also give you the full admin password to your LOXONE system, so you’re never locked into Grizzly Tec for support or changes. You own it completely.

What a Typical Project Looks Like in River Oaks

A typical River Oaks audio and video project centers on multi-room audio zones with in-wall and in-ceiling speakers placed to suit your home’s architecture, often including high ceilings and built-in millwork. A dedicated home theater commonly adds a motorized projection screen and shades that lower automatically when the theater scene activates. Lighting integration is usually part of the package, so one tap changes the music, lighting, and ambient sound together. Everything runs from one LOXONE app, and you keep the admin password.

Cost of Audio & Video in River Oaks

A multi-room system covering main living areas (kitchen, dining, living room, home theater) is priced by project. Motorized screens and projection systems are quoted depending on size and finish. Pricing depends on the size and scope of the project.

Full integration with your home’s lighting, climate, and security—what we call whole-home automation—multiplies the value. Your audio system becomes part of a larger ecosystem where everything responds to voice, scenes, and time-of-day automation. Most River Oaks renovations that include audio and video include the entire entertainment and automation package.

We’re transparent about costs and we don’t charge monthly fees ever. You pay once, you own it forever. For specific pricing on your home, call us at (346) 220-2472 or email to discuss your layout and goals.
